Inhibitor of apoptosis proteins in breast cancer

Synopsis

Professor Streuli will investigate the possibility of using novel drugs to kill breast cancer cells more efficiently, therefore improving the effectiveness of existing breast cancer treatments.

Aims & Goals

‘We hope that our work will pave the way for future translational studies to test the usefulness of combinatorial therapies with inhibitors of ‘Inhibitor of Apoptosis proteins’ in the clinic. If these studies work, they may lead to the development of better treatments for patients with breast cancer’,
