Title
Transcriptional/translational analysis of breast cancer providing - a modern clinical classification system
Aims & Goals
The project will develop a modern classification of breast cancer, which identifies specific clinically relevant subtypes, based on characteristic morphology, clinical behaviour, genetic alterations, gene expression profiles and protein profiles. This proposal forms part of a long term program to develop improved diagnostic and tumour classification strategies and therapies based on breast cancer type and related abnormalities of specific targets and pathways, and which will lead to better disease outcome for breast cancer.
