Title

Role of poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation of CTCF in breast tumourigenesis

Synopsis

This project will provide a greater insight into differences between normal and breast cancer cells. We hope that this information will be used to develop new diagnostic tests which will be able to alert people to when the change form normal to cancer has occurred.

Aims & Goals

"We discovered the presence of the forms of a protein CTLF, specific for tumour and normal breast cells. This finding can help us to understand the role of these forms in breast cancer development and also can lead to practical diagnostic applications in the clinic."
