Breast Cancer Campaign Tutor
Synopsis
Since 1998, Breast Cancer Campaign have supported the Royal College of Surgeons by funding a Breast Cancer Campaign Breast Tutor, responsible for the continued education of surgeons involved in the treatment of breast cancer patients. We are delighted to be continuing this support for a further three years, to ensure that the course programme to be reviewed revised and enhanced to reflect current trends and practices in breast cancer treatment
Updates
Through Breast Cancer Campaign's long standing relationship with The Royal College of Surgeons it has funded 28 breast surgery courses and trained over 1000 doctors over the last nine years. During this time the numbers of specialist breast surgeons in the UK has risen from 300 to 472
