Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving

A regular gift to Breast Cancer Campaign through payroll giving is an incredible gift. It enables us to plan for the future and provides a valuable core of funds that we can rely upon every month to use on our life saving breast cancer research.

Payroll giving is a tax-efficient way of giving to Breast Cancer Campaign from your gross pay. Donating before you are taxed means money that would normally go to HM Revenue & Customs is given to the charity instead.

Making a monthly donation is simple to organise, you just need to decide how much you want to donate each month. For example, to give £10, you only need to donate £7.80. HM Revenue & Customs then gives Campaign the extra £2.20 (at the basic rate of taxation).

If your payroll department has a scheme in place they will set up your donations for you. If they don’t, please ask them to read the guidelines below.

Companies

It is easy to set up a payroll giving scheme and donate to Campaign. All your payroll department needs to do is talk to a government approved agency, such as the Charities Aid Foundation or Charities Trust.
