The adidas Silverstone Half Marathon, in March 2015, has all the ingredients you need for a brilliant run. Follow in the tyre tracks of motorsport superstars, like Lewis Hamilton, as you take on the straights and bends of one of the world’s best-known race tracks. Add to that the amazing atmosphere and it’s no wonder this is one of the UK’s most popular half marathons. And best of all you’ll be helping to fund lifesaving breast cancer research.
From the moment you sign up, we’ll be here to help you every step of the way. You’ll not only get your very own Breast Cancer Campaign technical running vest, but access to our online training zone, the complete support of our experienced events team and a fundraising pack with everything you’ll need to raise money. You’ll also get an invitation to join our exclusive running team Facebook group, so you can chat to your fellow runners.
You won’t be on your own on the day either. We’ll be there to scream, shout and cheer you on during the run and provide cheer sticks for your friends and family too, so they can do the same.
We can’t wait to see you on the start line.

Why fundraise for us?Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. One in eight women will face it in their lifetime, and each year 50,000 women are diagnosed and 12,000 women die from the disease. Research has made huge progress over the last 25 years, but more women than ever are getting breast cancer, and we predict that 185,000 lives will be lost to breast cancer by 2030. We must rise to this challenge, and we must do so now.
In spring 2015, we will join forces with Breakthrough Breast Cancer to form the largest dedicated breast cancer research charity in the UK. We will be committed to ending breast cancer, once and for all. Our aim is that by 2050 no one will die from breast cancer. We will do this by finding ways to prevent the disease, improving early diagnosis and developing new treatments for all types of breast cancer. United, we will be a stronger, more effective force committed to putting an end to breast cancer. United, we will achieve our shared ambition that by 2050 no one will die from the disease.
And we’ve never needed your support more. Please join us on this exciting journey. You are our future. And together we will put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.
