Cards for a Cure from Hallmark

2010 is the fourth consecutive year Hallmark Cards is supporting breast cancer charities with a £250,000 contribution as part of their annual ‘Cards for a Cure™’ campaign (£225,000 to Breast Cancer Campaign and £25,000 to Action Breast Cancer, a programme of the Irish Cancer Society). This Mother's Day will see the company hit the £1 million mark for money contributed to funding breast cancer research.

Cards are available now from Hallmark branded shops, Clinton's and many supermarkets and high street card shops as well as online at hallmark.co.uk, where you can create a personalised card for your Mum.

As part of the 2010 'Cards for a Cure™' campaign, Hallmark, in association with the Llewelyn-Bowens, held a photography competition asking people to send in a photo that they believed captured the essence of motherhood. The prize included a £1,000 voucher to spend on photography equipment, their photo featured on a Hallmark card and a special prize for the winner's Mum.
