Emotional Impact Pink Science Icon

This research aims to better understand the effect that breast cancer has on people’s lives and how they can best be supported.

A breast cancer diagnosis is a traumatic experience that affects not only the patient but also their family, friends and colleagues. While it is vital to treat the physical symptoms of breast cancer, it is also essential to ensure a patient’s emotional well-being is taken care of to protect their long-term quality of life. Emotional research helps us better understand the impact that breast cancer has on people's lives and how they can best be supported.
