More than 30 people joined fundraiser, Mary Franklin, on her ten-mile North Cotswolds Friendship Walk, around Blockley. Mary held a cake sale the week before to encourage people to join her walk. The incentive was they could burn off the cakes they had just eaten. She said, "Several people found it quite a challenge and had to push themselves on to the end. But they were all really proud of themselves." The walk raised just over £1,000.
