Employees
Payroll giving is a tax-efficient way of giving to Breast Cancer Campaign from your gross pay. Donating before you are taxed means that money that would normally go to HM Revenue & Customs is given to the charity instead.
Making a monthly donation is simple to organise: you just need to decide how much you want to donate each month. For example, to give £10, you only need to donate £7.80 - HM Revenue & Customs gives Campaign the extra £2.20 (at the basic rate of taxation).
If your payroll department has a scheme in place they will set-up your donations for you, if they don’t please ask them to read the below guidelines.
Companies
It is easy to set up a payroll giving scheme and donate to Breast Cancer Campaign: all your payroll department needs to do is talk to a government approved agency, such as the Charities Aid Foundation or Charities Trust.
