Trek Overview

The challenge begins and ends in Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan community are situated. Your two-week expedition follows the Uhl River, through rhododendron and evergreen forests. The route takes in Hindu settlements and isolated Buddhist monasteries. The region remains largely unvisited, which makes it a pristine and unspoilt area to trek. You can then spend your final day exploring the Taj Mahal – one of the greatest monuments ever built.
