ASDA's Tickled Pink campaign

Now in its 14th year, ASDA’s Tickled Pink campaign has raised over £21 million for Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care through sales of pink products and in-store fundraising with ASDA colleagues and customers.

Since 2005, when Breast Cancer Campaign became the second charity to benefit from ASDA's Tickled Pink support, over £5 million has been raised.

This money has helped to fund 57 research projects in 20 locations across the UK and has solely funded four Scientific fellowships, worth nearly £2 million.

Scientific fellowships are needed to help retain the best scientists in medical research in the UK and they are funded for up to five years. The first fellowship was awarded to Dr Rob Clarke of Manchester University. Dr Clarke and his team of nine scientists are researching how breast cancers develop so they can try and find a way to prevent them.
