Response To BMJ Survey On Breast Conserving Surgery

Breast Cancer Campaign responds to the BMJ survey on the number of women opting to have breast conserving surgery over mastectomies.
Baroness Delyth Morgan, Chief Executive of Breast Cancer Campaign said: “The study highlights how vital it is that women undergoing primary breast conserving surgery are fully informed of the outcomes, and risks, involved and that they understand the likelihood of requiring additional surgery.”
