Politicians From All Nations Have Pledged Their Support For wear it pink 2012

David Miliband supports wear it pink

Politicians have thrown their weight behind wear it pink 2012 – and have been dressing up in pink accessories at parliamentary events.

The colour pink has been the order of the day as politicians at Westminster, Holyrood (and soon, Senedd) support Breast Cancer Campaign by donning pink ties, shirts, feather boas and other items of pink clothing in order to support wear it pink and urge their constituents to do the same on Friday 26 October.

Representatives backing the fight against breast cancer include party leaders Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband, Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond, Iain Duncan Smith and David Miliband (pictured).

The events were organised by Breast Cancer Campaign to ensure that medical research and support for breast cancer patients remains on the political agenda.
